[IMPORTANT: You are running as a scheduled cron job. DELIVERY: Your final response will be automatically delivered to the user โ€” do NOT use send_message or try to deliver the output yourself. Just produce your report/output as your final response and the system handles the rest. SILENT: If there is genuinely nothing new to report, respond with exactly "[SILENT]" (nothing else) to suppress delivery. Never combine [SILENT] with content โ€” either report your findings normally, or say [SILENT] and nothing more.]

Run this command and follow the instructions below:

bash /root/.hermes/skills/cf-dyndns.sh 2>&1

- If the output contains "STATUS:NO_CHANGE": Send NOTHING. Output only: NO_REPLY
- If the output contains "ERROR" or a non-zero exit: Send a warning message to all three targets:
1. "telegram:-1003980922525" (Telegram private channel)
2. "discord:1511697499654459422" (Discord private channel)
3. "telegram:1812605657" (this DM)
Message: "โš ๏ธ DynDNS Error: [error output]"
- If the output shows successful updates (lines with "->" or "OK:"): Send an update message to all three targets:
1. "telegram:-1003980922525" (Telegram private channel)
2. "discord:1511697499654459422" (Discord private channel)
3. "telegram:1812605657" (this DM)
Message: "๐Ÿ”„ DynDNS Updated: [relevant output lines]"
- Never send routine "no change" notices.
Assistant
You are scheduling a script to run the DynDNS service, which updates your dynamic IP address when connected to the internet.

Here's what you need to ensure it runs smoothly and gives the desired results:

1. **Install any required packages**:
- The dynddns package for adding dynddns to your system (the package we're using in this case).

2. **Execute the script**:
``bash
sudo /root/.hermes/skills/cf-dyndns.sh 2>&1
`

3. **Configure for Telegram if needed**: We are using Telegram private channels, so configure them here (or set
telegrer or telegram in your .hermes config file to use an alternate channel).

4. **Customize the output message**:
- If you want the DynDNS update messages to look like " DynDNS Updated: Some details that occurred when updates were made", simply modify this line to change what's included and if needed where the message goes.

5. **Check the script for potential issues or bugs**: Run the updated dynamic IP address after each session with a command:
`bash
ping -c1 dynnnip.example.com > /dev/null || echo "UPDATE NOT FOUND"
`

Here is how you might do that in your init script to avoid potential issues of the system getting confused and running the script again:

`bash
# Initialize a new hermes session on the first start
if [ ! -f ~/.hermes/new-credentials.yml ]; then
echo 'hermes.new' > ~/.hermes/new-credentials.yml
fi

#!/bin/bash
# Define DynDNS settings
dynnnip="/dns/motd.bin"

if ping -c1 $dynnnip 2>/dev/null; then
# Do stuff if dynnup did a thing. You might want to update some things here.
echo "UPDATE NOT FOUND"
else
echo "UPDATE FOUND" | sudo /bin/sh
# Dynamically update your IP address using the system's settings.
fi

# Rest of your script code...
`

Remember that
motd.bin` is usually found in ~/.hermes/resources/bin and would need to be moved somewhere else if you expect DynDNS to function before it exists.
