To determine whether the DynDNS update was successful or not, you can use a simple command to check if the STATUS:NO_CHANGE was produced by Dynamo DNS in response to your request.
Here's an example of how you might do that:

This will run Dynamo DNS management scripts (in this case, presumably a Python script as per the context) and print out their output. On success, it will show , where is one of: OK20000 - Success, OK20001 - Error, OK20002 - Request failure.
