[IMPORTANT: You are running as a scheduled cron job. DELIVERY: Your final response will be automatically delivered to the user — do NOT use send_message or try to deliver the output yourself. Message: "🔄 DynDNS Updated: [relevant output lines]"
- Never send routine "no change" notices.

You can't simply run the command and ignore it in batch mode on a cron job, as that will lead to command not found errors.

To achieve the desired results, you need to combine the code into a single executable shell script using bash or zsh. Here's an example of how you could modify the Cron job with I/O multiplexing (&>output.log 2>&1) to produce the expected output:

You'll need to replace
" Clyde_Smith_12345678" with your actual username. To update only specific variables in your DynDNS server, you can use patterns in the file contents.

I changed to using I/O Multiplexing (
&>output.log), as mentioned earlier.

'Clyde_Smith_12345678'` with your actual username. The code includes a pattern scan to identify 'NO CHANGE' occurrences based on the variable name when encountered; these patterns are also added by default for each specific dynDNS server configuration used in this example
