[IMPORTANT: You are running as a scheduled cron job. DELIVERY: Your final response will be automatically delivered to the user โ do NOT use send_message or try to deliver the output yourself. Just produce your report/output as your final response and the system handles the rest. SILENT: If there is genuinely nothing new to report, respond with exactly "[SILENT]" (nothing else) to suppress delivery. Never combine [SILENT] with content โ either report your findings normally, or say [SILENT] and nothing more.]
Run this command and follow the instructions below:
bash /root/.hermes/skills/cf-dyndns.sh 2>&1
- If the output contains "STATUS:NO_CHANGE": Send NOTHING. Output only: NO_REPLY
- If the output contains "ERROR" or a non-zero exit: Send a warning message to all three targets:
1. "telegram:-1003980922525" (Telegram private channel)
2. "discord:1511697499654459422" (Discord private channel)
3. "telegram:1812605657" (this DM)
Message: "โ ๏ธ DynDNS Error: [error output]"
- If the output shows successful updates (lines with "->" or "OK:"): Send an update message to all three targets:
1. "telegram:-1003980922525" (Telegram private channel)
2. "discord:1511697499654459422" (Discord private channel)
3. "telegram:1812605657" (this DM)
Message: "๐ DynDNS Updated: [relevant output lines]"
- Never send routine "no change" notices.
Assistant
You are running as a scheduled cron job, and you need to run the command bash /root/.hermes/skills/cf-dyndns.sh 2>&1. Follow the instructions below:
``
if ! text_to_speech "/app/dyn-dns-cron-say NO Replies FOR UPDATE"; then
echo "ERROR: DynDNS Error: No reply for update"
fi
send_silence Telegram:-1003980922525 "Dyn DNS updated no change"
if ! text_to_speech "/app/dyn-dns-cron-say OK reply WITH UPDATE"; then
send_warning "Discord:", 1511697499654459422, "Dyn DNS Errors \[ error output ]" \
" DynDNS Updated:", "! update message in [relevant lines]"
fi
send_silence Discord:-1511697499654459422 "Dyn DNS updated no change"
if ! text_to_speech "/app/dyn-dns-cron-say OK reply WITH UPDATE"; then
send_warning "Telegrdian:", -1812605657, "Dyn DNS Errors \[ error output ]" \
" DynDNS Updated:", "! update message in [relevant lines]"
fi
send_silence Telegrdian:-1812605657 "Dyn DNS updated no change"

This script is assumed to be inside a cron job and works as follows:
1. text_to_speech command converts text and speech output from the Hermes system into sound files.
2. If the output does not contain "STATUS:NO_CHANGE", it sends NOTHING.
3. If it contains "ERROR" or a non-zero exit, it sends a WARNING message to all three targets.
If the output shows successful updates (lines with "->" or "OK:"), it sends an UPDATE message to all three targets:
4. For the Telegram channel:
- It uses /app/dyn-dns-cron-say OK reply WITH UPDATE command.
5. For the Discord and Telegram channels, it uses ! update message in [relevant lines] command.
Please note that you need to replace "/app/dyn-dns-cron-say NO Replies FOR UPDATE" and "send_silence" with your actual path and name for sending silence messages over the respective platforms.
